Acconeer receives an order from Digi-Key worth USD 22,128

The order relates to Acconeer's High-Performance module XM112, the IoT module XM122 and Acconeer sensor A1.

American Digi-Key's platform, serving both global players as well as smaller local niche producers, is an important distribution channel for Acconeer. To date, Acconeer has identified six product launches from players who purchased Acconeer's sensor through Digi-Key.

The wireless headphone application to be showcased has been trained to recognize five hand gestures with high accuracy and close to zero latency. It is the first result coming from a cooperation agreement between the companies that started in May this year. By combining Edge AI software from Imagimob with the Pulsed Coherent Radar technology from Acconeer, the two companies have created an innovative platform for gesture control perfect for consumer electronics products.

At the end of September, BEYD had supplied Acconeer's sensors to five different customers, three of whom are active in the area of parking sensors and one each in level measurement in tanks and presence detection. The new order from BEYD includes Acconeer's radar sensor A111 and the recently launched IoT module XM122.


To simplify and create faster development processes, Acconeer continuously publishes new focus use cases with associated reference applications and demonstration videos on its website. Customers are thereby allowed to download software and application development packages and can quickly initiate tests on their hardware or one of Acconeer's development platforms. By making the source code available, customers can easily adapt the reference application to their products.


The radar technology company Acconeer AB has for the second year running been named a Cool Vendor in Novel Sensors by Gartner. In their 2019 Cool Vendors research report they especially point out Acconeers selective distribution network, the introduction of new developer-friendly evaluation kits and the sale of over 1,000 evaluation kits since first launched in 1H18.


Acconeer's products have been available on American Digi-Key's platform since February 15, 2018. Previously Digi-Key has sold Acconeers radar sensor, evaluation card, and modules. This is the first order relating to the previously announced IoT module XM 122 and the breakout board XB 122.


The radar technology company Acconeer AB now announces plans for AEC Q-100 certification. Since Acconeer's launch of the A1 sensor in Q1 2018, it has been JEDEC certified for consumer electronics.
