At the end of September, BEYD had supplied Acconeer's sensors to five different customers, three of whom are active in the area of parking sensors and one each in level measurement in tanks and presence detection. The new order from BEYD includes Acconeer's radar sensor A111 and the recently launched IoT module XM122.
Lars Lindell, CEO Acconeer, comments: "We are very pleased with our collaboration with BEYD. They have in a very short time created an impressive list of customer projects in China and this order will go to meet the needs of these customers. Through their ability to add new customers, in combination with recurring deliveries of sensors to the existing ones, we see good potential for BEYD to continue to grow as a distributor"

The radar technology company Acconeer AB has been chosen by ALPS ALPINE to deliver radar sensors for the use case presence detection in cars to a European premium car manufacturer. Acconeer estimates the total potential value of the design wins to US$ 9-12 million over three years starting in 2022. By "design win" Acconeer refers to that the company's radar sensor has been selected for use in a customer product, but it is not equivalent to that an order has been placed.
